MARLA TURNBULL

My passion for nutrition began in 2012 when I left my career on the "doorsteps" of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. You see, I was losing my health to my career. Can anyone relate to this?

 

My health was failing, I developed Hashimoto's Disease and was extremely anemic. I was trying to get my health "on track" while working 60 - 70 hour weeks. My health was getting worse and I wasn't getting any better. I now know, once you have an autoimmune disease, like Hashimoto's, your chance of developing a second autoimmune disease greatly increases, then leads to cancer.

After leaving UPMC, I completed a ton of research on Food as Medicine. I can say with complete confidence that this new way of flooding my body with plant-rich nutrition saved my life! Juice Plus, whole-food products, are my nutritional seat belt bridging the gap in what I do eat and what I should eat. My Hashimoto genes have been "turned off" and I am healthier now than I was in my 20's. My passion grew so much I became a Master Certified Health & Wellness Coach. My goal is to give back the quality of life that has robbed so many people.

I daily teach the power of whole-food, plant-rich nutrition as a career. I like to say I get paid to change the genetics/DNA of future generations. I work, one-on-one, in person and virtually, with corporate clients, individuals and in groups.

 

I believe in you as you take the next steps toward obtaining your health. It is my desire to give you an "edge", an advantage, to remember you have everything inside of you that you need to succeed! I want to give you a passion for the things that matter most to you, to love what you do and fight for your health. It is then you head toward success. You are contagious and special.
